Important: In the factory, the gearbox is not filled with gear oil. The gear box must be filled up before the tool is put into use. If the amount of gear oil is not appropriate, the gear box will be damaged.
Check that cotter pins and roll pins (top of gearbox output shaft and through tailwheel shaft) are securely installed to ensure equipment is in safe condition for cutting tool service.
Connect the lawn mower to the three-point joint of the tractor. Do not install the driveline. CA design bearings have a machined double prong-type brass cage, an inner ring with a retaining flange on both sides and a guide ring centred on the inner ring. The flanges
on the inner ring are designed to keep the rollers in place when swivelling the bearing during installation or maintenance. The flanges are not designed to guide the rollers
or accommodate any axial load. The CA design is indicated by the designation suffix CA. Large CA design bearings with the designation suffix ECA have an optimized internal design for increased load carrying capacity.
E design bearings have 2 stamped window-type steel cages, an inner ring without flanges and a guide ring centred on the inner ring (d ≤ 65 mm) or on the cages (d > 65 mm). They have an annular groove and 3 lubrication holes in the outer ring. E design bearings are indicated by the designation suffix E. All E design bearings have an optimized internal design for increased load carrying capacity.

Spherical roller bearings are available with an annular groove and 3 lubrication holes in the outer ring (designation suffix W33) or 3 lubrication holes in the outer ring (designation suffix W20) . Made in Steel CHINAMFG 18 PCR M03.Stub teeth guarantee very high resistance and run very quietly.
Shafts
Made in steel CHINAMFG 16 CRN4.They are coupled with splined gears and are designed to stand the torque values stated in the catalogue.
Lubrication
SAE 90 gear oil must be put in the pto gearbox prior to use, change the oil after the first 60-80 hours and then every 12 months or 1500 hours which ever falls first.
Maintenance
Please check the oil level via the special oil window every 50 hours.Working temperatures should not exceed 120 degrees celcius under continuos duty cycle.
